Vine 49 Wine Tour Policies
Booking & Payment
At Vine 49 our top priority is our guests tour experience. We go out of our way to ensure that you have the optimal experience! Times and pick-up locations will be confirmed the night before the tour by your tour guide.
A 15% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. All reservations that are cancelled at least 7 days before the tour will be given a full refund. However, cancelled reservations within 7 days of a tour will be subject to a charge or the FULL reservation.
We DO NOT guarantee any tours booked within 24 hours of the departure time. If you did book within 24 hours we may not have time to contact you to cancel. Please Text or call us at 250899-9463 to confirm a tour booked within 24 hours.
Pick-Up & Drop-Off
Vine 49 is pleased to offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off’s for all guests. As a courtesy to other guests and to remain on schedule, PLEASE BE READY FOR PICK-UP 10 MINUTES BEFORE TOUR DEPARTURE TIME. Your tour guide will communicate the evening before the tour to confirm pick-up location.
We offer pick-up at most Kelowna locations; Hotels, Airbnb & residences. However on some occasions if a pick-up location is not centrally located, guests will be asked to meet at a central location.
Liability
Vine 49 Wine Tours is focused on providing an incomparable wine touring experience for each of our guests. While we will always do our best, unforseeable factors outside our control such as traffic, accidents, road closures and harsh weather can occur and cause delays. Vine 49 will not be held liable in the event that any of said factors occur.
Vine 49 Wine Tours and all partnering businesses such as wineries, restaurants, distilleries and breweries reserve the right to refuse service to any patron(s) disturbing the tour for others. This includes unruly behaviour such as inebriation, offensive language and other such behaviour. Guests who do not abide by our standards will be asked to part from the tour and we will arrange separate transportation at the guests expense. Refunds will not be given for guests asked to leave tour.
Vine 49 Wine Tours, our agents, representatives, employees etc., shall be held harmless and not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages or loss of any kind whatsoever. By booking a tour with Vine 49 Wine Tours, you agree to these terms.
Tasting Fees
All tasting fees are covered in the cost of the tour. In some instances, wineries may offer certain tastings such as ice wine or premium wines that are not included in the tour cost. In such cases, it will be up to the guest to cover the extra cost.
Meals
All full-day wine tours include a stop for lunch to experience the equisite cuisine our select Okanagan wineries offer. In order to ensure the best dining experience for our guests Vine 49 Wine Tours make make reservations at some of Kelowna’s phenomenal “non-winery” restaurants.
All lunch costs are excluded from the cost of the tour unless otherwise stated in tour details.
Complimentary water bottle and snack will always be included.
Photo Policy
The Okanagan Valley is so beautiful, its hard for us not to take tons of photos! Our tour guides know their way around a camera, portrait mode, landscape and zoom… we can do it all. If you would like a photo, just ask and we will be happy to snap all the photos you could ever desire. If this is something you would like to handle yourself, please let your guide know. We also are known to carry a polaroid camera and would be happy to provide you with the physical copy at the end of your tour. We will never take or post your photo without your permission.
Alcohol
In order to comply with provincial legislation and keep all guests safe, consumption of alcohol and cannabis is strictly prohibited in all motor vehicles. Any guest who does not comply will be asked to leave the tour. Let’s keep things safe!
